Summary
The Recruiter Master Trainer (RMT) plays a critical role in the training, development, coaching, and mentoring of Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officers (RRNCOs) and their associated First Line Leaders (FLL), within the Army National Guard. Serving as a subject matter expert in recruiting processes and techniques, the RMT is responsible for assessing individual and team performance, delivering structured training programs, and fostering continuous professional growth to enhance recruiting success. This position requires dynamic leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and guiding others in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. This position is remote.

- Training Development and Delivery
- Design and deliver group and individual instruction that spans technical, operational, and management areas within the recruiting field.
- Develop tailored training curricula and utilize effective instructional methods, including individual training, group sessions, workshops, and multimedia presentations.
- Incorporate training aids such as handbooks, demonstration models, computer-based tutorials, and other resources to meet instructional goals.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- Assess the training and development needs of RRNCOs, leaders, and teams to create relevant and impactful programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and use performance data to refine objectives, methods, and materials.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve recruiter performance, developing Improvement Action Plans (IAPs) based on assessments like Initial Assessment Reports (IARs).
- Mentorship and Leadership Development
- Coach and mentor RRNCOs, NCOICs, and other key personnel to improve operational effectiveness and leadership capacity.
- Actively participate in fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration within recruiting teams.
- Recruit, train, and support instructors or volunteers, providing oversight and performance reviews when necessary.
- Operational Analysis and Support
- Conduct detailed analyses to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within recruiting operations, providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with command leaders to align training objectives with organizational goals and priorities.
- Support marketing and social media initiatives to expand market presence and prospecting effectiveness.
- Administrative Coordination
- Perform administrative tasks required to plan, deliver, and document training programs effectively.
- Coordinate resources, schedules, and communication to ensure smooth execution of training and mentoring initiatives.
- Instructional Oversight and Program Evaluation
- Review instructor performance, providing feedback and recommending improvements to content or presentation methods.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into training strategies as appropriate.
- Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- Lead or guide staff, interns, or volunteers supporting training activities.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned to meet organizational needs and adapt to emerging challenges.

This position does not have any direct reports.
Work environment
- This position functions primarily in an indoor classroom/office setting.
- Some instruction may occur outdoors and/or offsite.
- Other activities such as recruiting events may require travel and could involve being outdoors.

- Ability to physically demonstrate activities as necessary, such as during field instruction, drills, etc.
- Ability to travel by car, plane, and/or other methods to assigned events or activities.

Travel required
Yes, 50-75% – local travel as needed. This position requires periodic overnight travel (TDY) to support contract requirements and mission objectives.
